Global projects bring many advantages and challenges. This volume offers one of the few, if not the first, reports of research that examines the interaction of culture and views of project success in a comprehensive way. In this highly complex issue, the authors lay out their research and results in a logical, deliberate manner that does much to ease the way along the path to understanding.

In this highly complex issue, the authors lay out their research and results in a logical, deliberate manner that does much to ease the way along the path to understanding. There is much to be learned by all in the study background and the data analysis itself. The report includes: an outline that establishes a firm foundation and frame of reference; a literature review with two components, one dealing with culture and the other dealing with cognition from a cross-cultural perspective; a research methodology with both qualitative (interview) quantitative (survey) aspects; data collected through interviews with stakeholders for projects in Brazil, China, Nigeria, Thailand, UAE, UK, and USA and surveys of respondents from 52 countries of origin.
