Jianbin Gao is an associate professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He serves as the PI of the National Key Research and Development Program of China in Cyber Security and has overseen the completion of more than 20 high profile projects. He has published over 30 academic papers in the last five years. Dr. Gao earned his PhD in computer science from the University Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2012. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania in US from 2009-2011 and from 2017-2018. His research interests include network security technology and its application, big data security, and blockchain technology and its applications. Qi Xia is a professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). She is currently the deputy director of the Cyberspace Security Research Centre, executive director of the Blockchain Research Institute, executive director of the Big Data Sharing and Security Engineering Laboratory of Sichuan province, member of the CCF blockchain committee, and chief scientist at Youe Data company limited. Dr. Xia serves as the PI of the National Key Research and Development Program of China in Cyber Security and has overseen the completion of more than 30 high-profile projects. She has published over 50 academic papers and won second place at the National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards in 2012. Dr. Xia earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2002, 2006, and 2010, respectively. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US from 2013-2014. Her research interests include network security technology and its application, big data security, and blockchain technology and its applications. Kwame Omono Asamoah earned his BSc in computer science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2014. He earned his master’s in computer science and technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu in 2018, where he is currently pursuing his PhD in computer science and technology. His current research interests include blockchain technology and big data security Bonsu Adjei-Arthur earned his BSc in information technology from University of Ghana, Ghana in 2017, and an MEng in computer science and technology from UESTC, China in 2020. He is currently pursuing his PhD in computer science and technology in UESTC. His research interests include blockchain technology and security and privacy.
