Jim Lusted is Senior Lecturer in Sport Studies at University of Northampton, UK. He has been researching issues related to social equality in sport for over ten years and has taught on a variety of undergraduate sport programmes during this time. His primary research interest has been around equality policies in British sport, particularly focusing on the challenges facing their implementation into local, grassroots sport organisations. He holds several voluntary roles related to equality in a number of sport organisations including at Kick It Out, English football’s anti-discrimination campaign group where he is currently Chair of the grassroots guidance group.
