Four years ago a team of women walked to the North Pole. For Caroline Hamilton, the team leader, there was just one problem - it wasn't enough. In constant driving winds, never-ending daylight, affected by the unusual magnetic forces and dragging all their food and medical supplies with them, they needed to expend the energy equivalent of running two marathons each and every day.
