Indeed, he represented the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) at the European Medicines Agency on diabetes-related drugs between 2006-2011. He is also presently listed in the top 5 researchers in Type 2 Diabetes worldwide. Jenny Grice is an accomplished Medical writer and has supported Prof Barnett on many of his projects including co-authoring a bespoke book on New mechanisms in glucose control, published in 2011.
