"The popularity of this Lecture Notes book merits an 8thedition publication." (British Journal Global &Travel Health, 1 August 2013)

Clinical Pathology for the Veterinary Team will help experiencedveterinary technicians set up various clinical laboratorydiagnostic tests. It provides a good explanation of basiclaboratory practices, the underlying concepts of many laboratorytests, and the physiology of common disease conditions. This bookis well worth the price. (Journal of the American VeterinaryMedical Association, December 2010) This book provides a goodoverall summary of basic clinical pathology in small animals.Although it is fairly short and concise, it contains all thenecessary relevant information and includes a CD that takes readersthorough six complicated cases, step by step. This is a useful bookthat would be a handy reference to have in a practice. It is easyto read, concise, and informative. Although it is aimed at smallanimal veterinary teams, it includes limited information aboutlarge animal species, which is important for a good, generalunderstanding. (Doodys, December 2010) Clinical Pathology for theVeterinary Team offers a fine recourse for technical team membersinvolved in clinical diagnostic evaluation. Machinery calibration, normal anatomy, clinical diagnostics and more are revealed inchapters that provide key technical information for Obtaining andevaluating samples, surveying the disease process, the progress ofidentification and treatment, and including a DVD with interactivecases. Vet collections need this! (THE MIDWEST BOOK REVIEW,November 2010) Rosenfeld, a veterinarian who is associated with aneducation corporation that specializes in seminar training for thehospital team, and Dial (veterinary science and microbiology, U. ofArizona) provide a resource for technical veterinary team membersperforming clinical diagnostic evaluation in small animal lab work.(Book News, September 2010)ReviewUpdater-Profile_21@1326747466110
