Andrew Kagan, M.D., is a retired senior surgeon from Hackensack University Medical Center and also taught at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has provided material for surgical texts, published in medical literature, and holds a patent for a blood-flow monitor. He currently is a volunteer surgeon at The Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative in New Jersey.
