John Graham-Cumming is British, but he lives in France. He earned his degrees (BA and MA in Mathematics and Computation and a doctorate in Computer Security) from Oxford University. He has worked in the UK, California and New York. He is well known in anti-spam circles, and did the whole startup thing in Silicon Valley.
