This volume of the journal contains five papers and seven reviews. The contributions deal with more Greek professional titles, mainly of the Byzantine Period [Diethart, part IV], the “Eyes of the Legions”, Iuppiter Optimus Maximus Hammon noster, the role of the Roman army in securing long-distance trade routes, and recent evidence for the god of legio III Cyrenaica from Hegra, north-west Saudi Arabia [Stoll], purpose and benefit of the Historical School of National Economy for the analysis of Roman economic history [Krocker], types of silk and their trade between China and India [Wang], and some professional titles and job titles in papyri, ostraca, and inscriptions - part 1: A-L [Reinard].
