Jenny beeken's initial career was in physics, both in a medical context and teaching in a school. After discovering yoga, she studied in India with Sri B. K. S. Iyengar and later with Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten. She has taught throughout Britain and Ireland and in Europe and the USA. She is Founder and Principal of the Heart Yoga School in Hampshire, and is also the author of DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH : A GUIDE TO GOOD BREATHING. She lives with her daughter in Petersfield.
