Panagiotis E. Petrakis is Emeritus Professor of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also serves as Scientific Coordinator of Distance Education Training Programs. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and monographs and has extensive publications in recognized academic journals on economic development, entrepreneurship, and cultural background. He is the series editor for two Palgrave book series: "Futures of European Societies and Economies" and "The Political Economy of Greek Growth up to 2030."
Paraskevi Boufounou is Assistant Professor of Development Finance at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is the author of numerous articles. She was Chair of the Network of Evaluation Societies in Europe (NESE) from 2021 to 2023. Boufounou had a long career in the banking and financial services sector. She held top positions in private and public sector institutions both at executive and non-executive level, including the National Bank of Greece, the Commercial Bank of Greece, and their subsidiaries. She also served as Chair of the Board of Invest in Greece (the official Agency of Greece for attracting FDIs), as well as Advisor to various Ministries contributing to legislative reforms facilitating Greece's economic transformation and recovery during the crisis.
Pantelis C. Kostis is Assistant Professor of Economic Development at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and monographs and has extensive publications in recognized academic journals on economic development and growth. He is a series editor for the Palgrave book series "The Future of European Societies and Economies." Kostis is also a senior associate editor for Journal of the Knowledge Economy, Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and International Journal of Sociology and Sustainable Development and has served as Guest Editor in several scientific journals.
