What do you remember from your high school physics class? If you think back, terms like energy, velocity, force, and momentum may come to mind. These concepts govern the natural world around us. Is it possible that they might be applied to the business world, too?

This is the question Chip Higgins invites you to explore in The Bizzics Way: Powering Your Small Business to Maximum Momentum. Bizzics applies the laws of physics to business, providing a how-to guide for entrepreneurs that cuts through the corporate jargon and simplifies business best practices. Whether you’re just thinking of starting a business or already growing a small company of your own, this book can help you achieve the holy grail that every business seeks—momentum.

Chip draws on his thirty-five-plus years of experience advising small business owners in the banking sector to detail the most relevant steps an entrepreneur must take to achieve lasting success. He draws on his own experience as a business and leadership coach, as well as case studies of real-world companies. From obtaining funding to hiring staff, this book covers the core components of the startup process, giving you the information that you need at every step of your entrepreneurial journey.

With clarity and candor, Chip reveals how you can harness your entrepreneurial energy and share it with the world in a way that allows you—and those around you—to thrive.

CHIP HIGGINS is the founder of Bizzics, an online resource for small business owners seeking guidance and community. Prior to establishing Bizzics, Chip forged a 35-year career in banking, focusing specifically on the needs of small business owners. He has always enjoyed working with entrepreneurs and decided to establish Bizzics as a way to close the resource gap he noticed between smaller business owners and major corporations. Chip holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA, both from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a founding member of the John Maxwell Team of certified coaches, speakers, and trainers. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee, where he continues to seek new relationships with small business owners.
