Elya Tzaneva, PhD, Associate Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies and Ethnographic Museum of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are in the theory of ethnicity, kinship relationship and the anthropology of hazards and disasters. She is the author of a number of books and the editor of several volumes in Bulgarian, English and Chinese in these research fields.Mila Maeva, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies and Ethnographic Museum of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She obtained her PhD in Ethnography from the Ethnographic Institute and Museum of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is the author of the books Bulgarian Immigrants in Turkey (Culture and Identity) (2006) and Bulgarian Emigrants in England – Past and Present (2017).Yelis Erolova, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies and Ethnographic Museum of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is the author of more than 50 scholarly publications, including Dobrudzha. Borders and Identities (2010) and Ethnicity, Religion and Migrations of the Gypsies in Bulgaria (with M. Slavkova, 2013). Jiang Wei, PhD, is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She is an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow of Global Climate Protection, and the author of Towards Carbon Neutrality: Upgrading the Non-technological Innovation System for China’s Low Carbon City Building.
