About the Editor-in-chief Xu Xianchun (1956) is Professor of the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, Director of China Data Center, Tsinghua University and a Senior Statistician. He has been engaged in the theoretical research and practice of Chinese government statistics for a long time. He has presided over and participated in the research work of many national natural science, social science funds and international cooperation projects, published more than 300 papers and many personal monographs. His papers and works have won many awards, including "The Adjustment of China's GDP Data by the World Bank and Its Existing Problems" (the 9th Sun Yefang's Economic Science Paper Award [2000]); "Research on the Accounting Method of China's Constant Price GDP" (first prize of the 11th National Statistical Research excellent achievement Monograph [2012]); and "Research on China's government statistical problems" (First Prize of the 15th Beijing Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievements [2019]).
