Wolfgang Schnellbächer is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group in Germany, and leads the procurement practice in Europe and the Middle East. Over the last 10 years, he has worked with companies like Daimler, Siemens, Thyssen-Krupp, RWE, BASF and Vattenfall on projects designed to help streamline existing procurement processes and incorporate new ideas and technologies. His doctoral thesis applied game theory to procurement negotiations, and showed the difference between face-to-face to digital negotiation set-ups. Daniel Weise is the Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group and the Global Lead of the procurement practice. For the last 17 years, he worked exclusively in procurement consulting serving leading companies across industries such as Daimler and Delphi in Automotive. Mr. Weise, in addition, gained practical procurement experience as CPO at Senvion, a wind turbine manufacturer.
