Sotirios Karvountzis qualified in 1994, from the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessalonica, Greece. His main clinical interests are advanced reproductive technologies (ART) for cattle and sheep, with multiple ovulation and embryo transfer (MOET) in cattle and sheep, cattle ovum pick-up (OPU) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF), as well as genomic benchmarking, reproductive and abdominal surgery, hoof health, mastitis, bull and ram semen testing, youngstock health, pathology and ruminant nutrition, based on Cornell Net Carbohydrate Protein System (CNCPS).
