Dr. Michael King is the Associate Director of the Faculty of Fisheries and the Marine Environment at the Australian Maritime College in Tasmania. He has extensive experience in fisheries consultancy work throughout the world, including the development and management of fisheries, assessment of resources and the establishment of research programmers. He has also been involved in numerous fisheries training assignments from Asia to the South pacific in addition to his teaching responsibilities at the Maritime College.
