Penny Wright has had plenty of experience with medicine during her career as a registered doctor. This stood her in good stead when Pippin needed round the clock care. She lives with her family and cats in rural England. Pippin and the Medicine is her first children's book. Lorna Gray has illustrated many children's books, and by chance a high number of them have featured cats! She is based in the Cotswolds with her husband and an extended herd of ponies, goats, dogs and a cat
