Isabel García Real
She is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1993 and obtained her PhD in 2000. She joined the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid in 1993, where she works as a professor in Radiology. She has been the Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Service at the Complutense Clinical Veterinary Hospital since 2005 and Director of the Magnetic Resonance Unit of the hospital since its opening in December 2008. She focuses her educational and research work on radiology, abdominal ultrasounds, CT scans and MRI. She has worked at the Universities of California (Davis, USA) and Cambridge (UK) and the Animal Medical Center in New York and the Animal Health Trust (Newmarket, UK). She is the author of several national and international publications, and has participated as a speaker in various courses and national and international conferences.
