Jay Daniel is a senior lecturer and technology innovation research cluster lead at the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement at the University of Derby, UK. Before joining the Derby Business school, he was a lecturer in Supply Chain and Information Systems at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. Previously with DB Schenker, Australia, and Alliance International Registrar, Asia Pacific, Jay held positions of Senior Management Consultant, Supply Chain Solution Analyst, Project Manager, Industry Trainer, and Lead Auditor. He has published over 60 refereed papers in many prestigious journals and international conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, International Journal of Information Management, Service Research, and Innovation, amongst others. Dr Daniel is serving on the editorial board of several top journals such as Australasian Journal of Information Systems (ERA rank A), Quality Management Journal, Operations Management Research, etc. and on several leading scientific/program committees of national/international conferences. His research is funded by government agencies such as InterAct, Economic and Social Research Council, Made Smarter Innovation, UK Research and Innovation and industry collaborators around the World. Dr Daniel has been invited as a keynote speaker/invited speaker at international industry and academic workshops and conferences around the globe such as Keynote Speaker in Oracle Modern Business Experience Conference (Australia), and World-class speaking about sustainable Supply chain at IISRP (USA, France, Italy, China, Korea, Russia, Germany, Japan, Austria, etc.). Dr Daniel is honoured to be included in the Top 50 Thought Leaders and Influencers on Supply Chain developed by thinkers 360. Ashutosh Samadhiya is a distinguished academic figure in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management, known for his significant contributions to research and education. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Business School, OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat, India, Dr. Samadhiya has amassed over eight years of experience in teaching, research, and innovation. His academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), India. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Samadhiya showcased his innovative prowess by developing a groundbreaking handloom machine, a feat that earned him an Indian patent, granted by the Indian Government. Furthermore, he demonstrated his commitment to technological advancement by transferring the technology associated with the handloom machine. In recognition of his academic excellence and research acumen, Dr. Samadhiya was selected for the prestigious Newton-Bhabha PhD placement program. This opportunity led him to collaborate with the Centre of Supply Chain at the University of Derby, UK, in 2021. Since then, he has maintained an honorary visiting researcher position at the University of Derby, fostering international collaborations and enriching his academic pursuits. Dr. Samadhiya's scholarly endeavors extend beyond academia, as evidenced by his prolific publication record in international referred and national journals, as well as presentations at renowned conferences on both the international and national stages. His research interests span a wide array of topics, including sustainability science, green/sustainable supply chain management, green operations, sustainable procurement, sustainable development, circular economy, Industry 4.0, performance measurement, human capital in supply chain and operations, decision modeling for sustainable business, and integration of operational areas with other domains. Moreover, Dr. Samadhiya possesses a diverse skill set, encompassing advanced statistical models, multivariate analysis, multi-criteria decision-making, fuzzy theory, fuzzy optimization, fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making, grey theory and analysis, machine learning, and more. His proficiency in these areas equips him to undertake complex research projects across various settings, including rural, semi-urban, and urban environments. In addition to his scholarly achievements, Dr. Samadhiya holds a design patent for an Artificial Intelligence Cash counting machine, showcasing his innovative spirit and commitment to technological innovation. Furthermore, he has made significant contributions to the academic community by serving as a reviewer and guest editor for esteemed journals, thereby enhancing the quality and rigor of scholarly publications. Jose Arturo Garza-Reyes is a professor of Operations Management and Head of the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement at the University of Derby, UK. He is actively involved in industrial projects where he combines his knowledge, expertise, and industrial experience in operations management to help organizations achieve excellence in their internal functions and supply chains. He has also led and managed international research projects funded by the British Academy, British Council, European Commission, Innovate UK, and Mexico’s National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). As a leading academic, he has published over 300 articles in leading scientific journals, international conferences, and eight books. Prof. Garza-Reyes is the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Associate Editor of the Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Editor of the International Journal of Supply Chain and Operations Resilience, and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
