However, the process often results in thermal damage to the workpiece surface, posing a significant technical challenge. While minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) has been used to aid titanium alloy grinding, its effectiveness is limited by insufficient heat dissipation and lubrication. As an alternative to normal temperature air for carrying micro-lubricants, Cryogenic air has shown promise in improving oil film heat transfer and lubrication performance in the grinding zone, thus reducing workpiece surface thermal damage. The experimental state of the technology demands more comprehensive studies on its effectiveness and on the underlying mechanisms. Mingzheng Liu , doctor of engineering, graduated from Qingdao University of Technology, associate professor, engaged in the research of sustainable intelligent and clean precision manufacturing. He has undertook 6 research projects, including youth fund of National Natural Science Foundation and Youth Fund of Shandong Province Natural Science Foundation. He has published 24 high-impact academic papers, including 15 papers in SCI-JCR (1-2), 4 ESI hot papers and 7 highly cited papers. He has been granted 30 invention patents. Among them, there are 12 Chinese invention patents and 18 international invention patents from the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. 4 patents have been licensed for industrialization. He has presided over and participated in the development of 9 corporate standards. He has won 9 science and technology awards, including the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shandong Province, first prize of Qingdao Science and Technology Progress Award, China Patent Excellence Award. He has applied for the young experts of Shandong Taishan Scholars for the first time, passed the letter evaluation and conference evaluation, and entered the comprehensive investigation stage. He is a key member of the team that created the journal of Intelligent and Sustainable Manufacturing. Changhe Li is a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, a distinguished expert of Taishan Scholars in Shandong Province, Shandong Excellent Inventor, Shandong Excellent Scientific and Technological Worker, Shandong Famous Teacher of Teaching and Shandong Excellent Postgraduate Instructor, Global Highly Cited Scientists released by Clarivate, Highly Cited Chinese Researcher of Elsevier, one of the World's Top 2% Scientists 2022 and Lifetime Scientific Impact Scientists released by the United States Stanford University. He is also the member of the Standing Committee of the Abrasive Processing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, member of the Standing Committee of the Optical Finishing Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Editorial Board member of Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering and Green Manufacturing Open, Guest Editor of International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, and Associate Editor of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering. He is selected as the 24th academic influence of domestic scholars in 2022, and has a high academic status and popularity in the same field at home and abroad. He has constructed a high-value patent cluster covering the upstream and downstream industrial chain in different regions such as the United States, Australia, Germany, etc., with 426 invention patents, 74 high-impact patents, and the patents have been cited by 920 patentees from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, etc. for 2074 times.
