François-Luc Giraldeau , a Canadian writer and editor, initially trained as an architect before shifting his focus to various creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. His contributions as a designer earned him his first accolade, but his work as a writer and editor solidified his reputation as a leading voice in spatial theory. Having published twenty books and numerous articles, essays, and reviews, he continues to oversee the development of a diverse collection of cultural publications, managing all aspects of their creation, from commissioning to publishing. Giraldeau earned a professional Master of Architecture from McGill University and the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a Minor in Urbanism from the School of Architecture and the Faculty of Planning at the University of Montreal. He also completed advanced training at the University of Buenos Aires FADU and the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. Continuing his academic engagement, he held various positions as a research scholar, guest reviewer, and visiting lecturer at universities in Canada, the United States, and France.
