He previously held positions as a Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Brazil, Distinguished Visiting Professor at IIT Bombay, Aditya Birla Chair at IISc, Bangalore, UK Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellow at??Cambridge University, and Visiting Professor at KTH, Stockholm.
