Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Metin OZGUVEN was born in 1976 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Salih Alptekin Primary School in 1987 and from Ankara Ayrancı High School in 1993. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Machinery as an Agricultural Engineer in 1997. He graduated from Ankara University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Agricultural Machinery in 2000 as an Agricultural Engineer and in 2009 as a Doctor. On February 15, 2010, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor Doctor at Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Machinery. In 2011, he was a visiting professor at North Carolina State University Agricultural Faculty Biological & Agricultural Engineering Agricultural Machinery Systems Engineering Department for three months. He is still working as a Associate Professor Dr. in Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Biosystem Engineering. He is married and has two children. He has published about 60 national and international articles and papers in the fields of Precision Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Agricultural Robots, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, Electronic Applications in Agriculture, Agricultural Machinery, as well as Turkish Precision Agriculture and Renewable Energy Resources books. He was also the translation editor of the Handbook of Agricultural Engineering Volume VI Information Technology (The Use of Information Technologies in Agriculture, Number of Pages: 575).
