Dr. David Voltmer, Emeritus Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rose[1]Hulman Institute of Technology, received his formal education at Iowa State University (BS EE), University of Southern California (MS EE), and The Ohio State University (PhD EE). Informally, Dave has learned much from his many students while teaching at Pennsylvania State University and at Rose-Hulman. Dave (aka Dr. EMAG) has taught electromagnetic fields and waves, microwaves, and antennas for nearly four decades. Throughout his teaching career, Dave has focused on improving teaching methods and developing courses to keep pace with technological advancements. Spare moments not spent with his family are occupied by long distance bicycling and clawhammer style banjo. Dave is an ASEE Fellow and an IEEE Life Senior Member.
