Dr. Nanasaheb Thorat is Principal Investigator funded by the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and Irish Research Council (IRC) Pathway Program at the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is also a Marie Curie Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Oxford, UK. He has been deeply engaged in collaborative work with the many eminent scientists from Japan, USA, Germany, Korea, Ireland, India, Poland, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Dr. Thorat has received the European Commission’s innovation Radar “Grand Prix of the Innovation Radar Prize 2020 for developing ground-breaking technology for breast cancer theranostics. Dr. Nitesh Kumar, M Pharm, PhD is an Assistant Professor from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hajipur. Dr. Kumar has published 90 peer reviewed journal articles (total citations – 995 and H-index – 19) and 2 book chapters. He delivered talks and oral presentations at several scientific conferences and received awards for his research contributions. Dr. Kumar has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience and currently guiding and co-guiding 12 PhD students on their thesis work. His research work includes biocompatibility and toxicological evaluation of various drug molecules and biomedical devices namely dialysis catridges, tooth implant and electrical stimulator for glioma treatment. His other research areas are neuroprotection, hepatoprotection and neuropharmacological studies of synthesized and herbal compounds. In addition to his scientific contributions, Dr. Kumar collaborated with several government agencies and industries in India and successfully implemented projects of high impact value with successful research outcomes as principal investigator, lead investigator and co-investigator.
