Gregory Stephanopoulos is the W. H. Dow Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Director of the MIT Metabolic Engineering Laboratory. Hans Jurgen Rehm was one of the founding members of the European Federation of Biotechnology. With Gerald Reed, Hans Jurgen Rehm was first editor of the famous series, Biotechnology - A Comprehensive Treatise, a standard textbook series of biotechnology.
