This textbook on electrical installation covers all aspects of the City and Guilds Part 1 syllabus and ammendments to the 16th IEE regulations. There are new sections on quality assurance, customer care and legislation. The text is reinforced with illustrations, worked examples and exercises.
This 3rd edition of 'Basic Electrical Installation Work' has been fully updated to cover all aspects of the City and Guilds Part 1 syllabus with the same clarity which made the previous two editions such successes. However, the text is fully adapted for NVQ courses and, as such, is essential reading for all students of electrical installation. Using his concise and practical approach the author updates existing material in line with amendments to the 16th IEE regulations as well as changes brought about by the privatisation of the elecricity supply industry. There are also new sections on quality assurance, customer care and legislation. The text is liberally reinforced with clear illustrations, and the many worked examples and exercises with answers allow students to work effectively during self-directed study. Trevor Linsley is an experienced lecturer and author. He is currently Senior Lecturer at Blackpool and the Flyde College.
