Jay Brooks lives in Cotati, California, where he was the beer buyer for Beverages & More and GM of Celebrator Beer News. He writes the syndicated column Brooks on Beer, which appears in several Bay Area newspapers. His articles have appeared in numerous publications, including All About Beer, American Brewer, Beer Advocate, and Playboy. Brooks cofounded SF Beer Week and has judged at GABF, the World Beer Cup, and other competitions.
