Iris H. Tuan is a Professor at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Tuan received her Ph.D. in Theater from UCLA. Tuan was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of English at Harvard University. Her excellent and prolific publications include hundreds of papers and ten books, such as Pop with Gods, Shakespeare, and AI: Popular Film, (Musical) Theatre, and TV Drama (2020), Translocal Performance in Asian Theatre and Film (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018), and co-edited Transnational Performance, Identity and Mobility in Asia (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).
