Zoë was an Access to HE Diploma student before graduating from the University of Liverpool in Biochemistry. She went on to teach the Access to HE Diploma in the FE sector before founding her own STEM-specialist provision. Zoë has worked collaboratively with AVAs and Access to HE Diploma providers in a variety of roles and offers freelance consultancy for services including supporting new providers with setting up, developing assessments and resources, and auditing provision. Zoë currently sits on Open Awards’ Access to HE Committee and both QAA’s Access Qualification Development Group and Access Regulation and Licensing Committee. Zoë is also an academic at The Open University, School of Life, Health, and Chemical Sciences. Additionally, Zoë is a STEM Ambassador with extensive experience working in science communication and with communities to raise aspirations and consider STEM careers.
