This book brings together a selection of his writings engaging with and developing the Marxist tradition. These essays examine theoretical issues, directly building on Karl Marx’s work, as well as practical and political issues, engaging with transformative and revolutionary activity. The essays included in this book are now made available to a new generation of critics of capitalism.

Ben Fine is Emeritus Professor of Economics at SOAS University of London, and Visiting Professor at Wits School of Governance, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Simon Mohun is Emeritus Professor of Political Economy at Queen Mary University of London. Alfredo Saad-Filho is Professor of Political Economy and International Development at King’s College London, and Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and LUT University, Finland.
