His research interests include the sociology of childhood and youth, the sociology of work and employment, the sociology of Filipino Catholicism, and qualitative and mixed methods. Sampson Lee Blair is a family sociologist and demographer at The State University of New York, Buffalo, USA. His research focuses on parent-child relationships, mate selection, marriage, and fertility. He is currently a visiting professor at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.
