Egodi Uchendu is Professor of History at the University of Nigeria, and President and Founder of the African Humanities Research and Development Circle. She has received several awards and fellowships, and her studies revolve around women in conflict situations, men and masculinities and African historiography.Elizabeth Onogwu is a Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies at the University of Nigeria, where she teaches contemporary African and oral literature. Her current research interests are sexuality and gay studies in Africa. Her latest edited work, Sexuality, Human Rights and Public Policy, was published in 2020.Chukwuemeka Agbo holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. His research explores the politics of labor mobilization in Eastern Nigeria in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the global and local dynamics that shaped labor demand and supply during this period. He serves as Vice President for Research and Publications of the African Humanities Research and Development Circle and Editor of its flagship journal, Journal of African Humanities and Research Development.
