He is now president and CEO of McREL International, a nonprofit research and consulting organization that supports state agencies, districts, and schools in applying the science of learning and science of teaching to support better outcomes for all learners. He has authored many books, including The New Classroom Instruction That Works, Learning That Sticks, and The 12 Touchstones of Good Teaching. Kristin Rouleau is a former elementary and middle school teacher, curriculum specialist, principal, and district curriculum administrator. She is now executive director of McREL's Learning Services group, and partners with schools, districts, and education agencies around the globe to support evidence-based teaching and leading for learners at all levels. She is coauthor of The New Classroom Instruction That Works, Learning That Sticks, and Unstuck.
