Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development (hereinafter ICCSD) of Tsinghua University was founded in December 2017. Mr. XIE Zhenhua, China's Special Envoy on Climate Change, serves as the inaugural president. ICCSD is missioned to provide solutions to global challenges of climate change and sustainable development, and propose coordinated goals, strategies, pathways, and policy recommendations to decision-makers in China and beyond.
