A complement to the Control of Communicable Diseases Manual, published by APHA Press for over 100 years. Clinical Practice is an essential reference for physicians and other health care practitioners, especially those working in global health infectious disease, epidemiology, travel medicine, and tropical medicine.
Clinical Practice is a new complement to the Control of Communicable Diseases Manual, published by APHA Press for over 100 years and one of the most authoritative sources for infectious disease information. Clinical Practice is an essential reference for physicians and other health care practitioners, especially those working in global health infectious disease, epidemiology, travel medicine, and tropical medicine.

This book addresses the needs of the busy or travelling clinician. It covers diagnosis and treatment of communicable diseases, while also providing an overview of epidemiology and prevention. The book balances depth with brevity, and packs a great deal of authoritative knowledge from worldwide public health and health care experts.

This is a must-have for the pockets, duffle bags, and bookshelves of all health care practitioners and global health professionals.
