Molefi Kete Asante is Professor and Chair of the Department of Africology and African American Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, and President of the Molefi Kete Asante Institute for Afrocentric Studies. He is the founding editor of the Journal of Black Studies and has published 83 books, including Revolutionary Pedagogy (2017), As I Run Towards Africa (2015), and The African American People: A Global History (2013).
