Martin Klatt is an Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the Centre for Border Region Studies, University of Southern Denmark, Sønderborg. Birte Wassenberg is a Jean Monnet Professor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques, University of Strasbourg, France.
