She has written several peer-reviewed scientific journal articles that provide empirical evidence on the contextual factors that contribute to risk and resilience among ethnic minority adolescents. She has been conducting the community based participatory research on adolescent alcohol prevention for over 12 years in partnership with local community partners and youth.
