The Editors: György Széll, born 1941 in Budapest, is Professor of Sociology at Osnabrück University since 1973, Director of its Japan Research Centre; amongst many other functions former President of the Research Committee 10 »Participation, Organisational Democracy & Selfmanagement» of the International Sociological Association (ISA). Wiking Ehlert, born 1942 in Berlin, is Professor of Sociology at Osnabrück University since 1991, and Director of the Association VAUST. He is Treasurer of RC 10/ISA.
