The great International Expositions of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries brought together the world's political, intellectual, and industrial leaders for the exchange of information and ideas. Eugene F. Provenzo, Jr. is Professor in the School of Education at the University of Miami. He is the author or editor of over one hundred books dealing with educational policy, African American history, curriculum, computing, and the history of education.
