Brian Street is Professor Emeritus at King’s College London, University of London and Visiting Professor of Education in the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania. He recently co-edited (with Judy Kalman) Literacy and numeracy in Latin America: Local perspectives and beyond (2012, Routledge). Constant Leung is Professor of Educational Linguistics at King’s College London, University of London. He was the founding chair of the National Association for Language Development in the Curriculum and his recent publications include English: A changing medium for education (2012) with Brian Street.
