In chapter 3, the history of the EU-Chinese relations and the most essential trade statistics will be presented. Before ending with an overall conclusion, chapter 4 will deal with some special trade issues of importance, like technological cooperation, the textile conflict and the everlasting issue of intellectual property rights.
