This interactive multimedia training package seeks to offer a simple and effective way of learning the basics of cataloguing, whatever the user's level of knowledge or role in the library is. It teaches AACR2 and MARC, covering the complete range of topics needed for the catalogue. This version, Version 2.0, updates all the MARC coding, and incorporates the changes introduced by format integration and the updating and harmonizing of USMARC and UKMARC. Included for the first time are an introduction to MARC module and a module on format integration. The system requirements for this package are as follows. Macintosh computers: a 68030 or higher, running System 7; 13 inch RGB colour monitor (256 colours); five megabytes RAM minimum (eight megabytes preferred); internal hard disk and internal or external CD-ROM drive. IBM-compatible computers: minimum 386 processor, 25 MHz IBM-compatible PC; super VGA display (256 colour, 640 x 480); minimum 8 megabytes RAM; internal hard disk and internal or external CD-ROM drive; DOS 6.0 or later software, Windows 3.1.
