Twice yearly updates are available, drawn from a variety of sources, including Medline. This edition of the CD also contains the database "Physicians GenRx", which includes complete prescribing information on all FDA-approved drugs. The CD features the ability to print or copy retrieved information; highlighters, bookmarks and sticky notes to personalize each copy of CCEL; easy-to-use Folio VIEWS software that lets viewers concentrate on the information, not the software; and optional titles available to be purchased separately. The hardware requirements are: Intel-compatible 80386 processor; 4 MB of RAM; Microsoft Windows 3.1; hard drive containing 5 MB of free space; monitor capable of displaying Windows applications; and CD-ROM drive.
