Dr. E. Julius Dasch currently manages the NASA National Space Grant Program and EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research). His more than 150 publications are in Marine Geochemistry, Geochronology (terrestrial and lunar rocks and meteorites) and science education. In addition to a Fulbright Fellowship Award, Julius has served as chairman of the Geological Society of America (Cordilleran Section), President of the Oregon Academy of Science, and is a recipient of the Burlington Northern Faculty Fellowship for Teaching. He recently received the International Astronautical Federation Frank J. Malina Medal for Space Education in Beijing, China. He is a Distinguished Alumna of Sul Ross State University. Ian Ridpath is a renowned author and broadcaster on astronomy and space and is also editor of Norton's Star Atlas, the world's most famous star atlas. He is author of a standard series of sky guides for amateur astronomers, illustrated by Wil Tirion. His other books include Star Tales about the origin and mythology of the constellations.
