Dr Norman Clark Capshaw has studied both engineering and education at advanced levels. His dissertation examined the impact of the Internet on higher education quality and access, a work published as How the Internet Affects Higher Education: A Multi-Country Analysis. He has over 30 years of diverse engineering experience and teaching experience at five universities. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Gabon, Africa, and as an International Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Indonesia. He has authored articles in the Peabody Journal of Education, ITEA Journal, and the Defense ARJ Journal, as well as a chapter in the book Sustainable Development and Human Security in Africa: Governance the Missing Link, and biographies of Nobel Peace Prize winners Norman Borlaug and Muhammad Yunus.
