He has published several books and journal articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Most importantly he has taught at the University of Zambia for thirty-nine years and is therefore well acquainted with the developments that have taken place at UNZA. Thokozile Shaba is a part-time lecturer in the Department of Historical and Archaeological Studies at the University of Zambia. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis on politics and political violence in Zambia.
