Nandini Chakraborty is a consultant psychiatrist in early intervention in psychosis with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and an Honorary Professor with the University of Leicester, UK. She is the immediate ex-Associate Dean for Equivalence at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the current national lead for recruitment in psychiatry with RCPsych and Health Education England. As associate dean for equivalence in the College (2016-2021) she has led the work on CESR in psychiatry, training applicants and evaluators and advising NHS Trusts about the correct way to support applicants and mentors. Her work in CESR in Psychiatry is a landmark. She currently remains involved in CESR evaluations both through the RCPsych and GMC.
